Result: Pretenders, 196 for 6 from 35 overs; The Not so Mighty Fishers, 66 all out from 17 overs.
We were absolute rubbish! In 30 degree heat we fielded and bowled poorly, allowing Pretenders to rack up 196 of 35 overs. This was nothing compared to the abject batting display which followed. Let’s be honest, who expects Magnet to be top scorer, but this strange feat actually happened, and it wasn’t a mirage. He and Milton took the score nicely to 40 after 10 overs, whereupon the wheels well and truly fell off. We went from 40-1 to 66 all out in 17 overs including 4 ducks (competition for Bungle at last!) and a hat trick. Result – lost by 130 runs
